On today’s Art of War Battle Report, we present to you the brand new edition of Warhammer 40k with Mike's Tallyband Summoners Death Guard taking on Michael's Grand Coven Thousand Sons!

As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. Note that this battle report is using existing 10th edition points costs for units and random force dispositions that we think fit the lore of the detachment!

Mike's Death Guard are led by Mortarian, Rotigus, and 2x Great Unclean Ones, one with Entropic Knell. Supported by a unit of Plaguebearers, a Beast of Nurgle, 2x units of Chaos Spawn, and 2x Defilers.

Michael's Thousand Sons are led by Magnus the Red, Ahriman, a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch with Wings with Eldritch Vortex of E'Taph, 3x Infernal Masters, a Sorcerer in Terminator Armor, and a Tzaangor Shaman. Supported by 3x Rubric Marine units, a unit of 10 Scarab Occult Terminators, Sekhetar Robots, and Tzaangors.

Today’s battle will be fought using the Disruption vs Purge the Foe Force Disposition matchup on the new 11th Edition Terrain format, Tipping Point Deployment!
