On today’s Art of War Battle Report, we present to you the brand new edition of Warhammer 40k with John's Invasion Fleet Tyranids taking on Tucker's Windrider Host Aeldari!

As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. Note that this battle report is using existing 10th edition points costs for units and random force dispositions that we think fit the lore of the detachment!

John's Tyranids are led by a Hive Tyrant with Adaptive Biology, a Neurotyrant, The Red Terror, and 2x Tyranid Prime with Lash Whip. Supported by a unit of 10 and 2x units of 20 Hormagaunts, a Biovore, 2x Exocrines, 2x units of Genestealers, 2x Maleceptors, and 2x Neurolictors.

Tucker's Aeldari are led by Eldrad Ultran, Farseer Skyrunner with Firstdrawn Blade, and Lhykhis. Supported by a unit of Corsair Voidreavers, Storm Guardians, 2x units of 6 Windriders and 2x units of 3 Windriders, a unit Corsair Skyreavers, 2x Fire Prism, Rangers, 2x Shroud Runner units, a War Walker, 3x Warlock Skyrunners and a unit of 10 Warp Spiders.

Today’s battle will be fought using the Take and Hold versus Reconnaissance Force Disposition matchup on the new 11th Edition Terrain format, Tipping Point Deployment!
