What Is the Difference Between thewarroom.vhx.tv Subscription and Youtube Membership?

VHX and Youtube Gold are exactly the same in terms of video content. Both subscriptions include all War Room videos and access to the Art of War discord community. The primary difference is the platform on which you access those videos. If you signup on VHX you access all videos on the VHX desktop or mobile apps. If you signup on Youtube you access the videos through Youtube's desktop or mobile app. There is no cross integration between the two platforms.

Which platform, VHX or Youtube, directly support the Art of War team the most?

VHX is the best place to support us directly, but we appreciate any memberships on Youtube if you prefer that platform and its mobile app.

What is the best way to search for videos on the War Room VHX platform?

The best way to find the videos you are looking for is to use the "Series" section, in particular the "All Videos Organized by Faction" and "War Room Theory and Strategy Videos" series. These series have a dropdown menu to switch between factions or types of strategy videos. All series are organized from most recent to oldest. We put a lot of work into keeping these updated as the search function itself has limited functionality (we have requested Vimeo put more work into this).

Can I listen to VHX videos on my phone while playing in the background? Can I also download VHX videos to watch offline?

Yes to both questions. You can find these options under your account settings in the VHX mobile app.

Do I need to subscribe to VHX via the Apple or Google Play stores to access the mobile app?

No, you can simply subscribed directly on thewarroom.vhx.tv and then when you login to the mobile app on iOS or Android you simply use the same account you created on the desktop version to login and access the videos. This is often cheaper as well due to Apple and Google tacking on their own fees to app store purchases.

How do I sign up for the group coaching courses offered by Art of War?

All coaching related products are available on theartofwar40k.com/shop
This is a separate platform from VHX or Youtube so requires a separate account. Once you make a purchase be sure to respond to the questions in your confirmation email (check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox!). If you are a War Room member you may have discounts available on your next group coaching (see the loyalty program question below for more information).

How to I Access the Art of War 40k Podcast?

The Art of War 40k podcast part II episodes are exclusive to patreon.com/aow40k
They are not included in the War Room subscriptions as they have their own editing team separate from the War Room.

How Do I Access the Faction Channels on the Art of War Discord?

If you navigate to the Art of War server and accept the rules, you still see a #get-roles channel near the top of the channel list. In that channel you can click the color circles that correspond to your favorite factions to enable you to view and post in them.

You will also want to post your account email (for VHX) in the #war-room-verification channel to access the War Room section of the discord.

Are there any rewards for remaining subscribed to the War Room each month?

How Do I Access These Rewards?
Once you have reached one or more milestones list above, you will send an email to [email protected] with the title “War Room Loyalty Program” and include in your email your full name, War Room account email, platform subscribed on (VHX or Youtube Gold—if Youtube please also add your Youtube username), discord ID, and the amount of months that you have been subscribed to the War Room. Once your membership and months subscribed has been verified, you will receive a follow up email with the appropriate rewards!

If you have already reached any of these milestones with an active War Room subscription, your current months subscribed still count and you can reach out via email to [email protected] to verify and redeem them! For example, if you have been subscribed for two consecutive years and have already claimed a 50% off and a 100% off coupon in the older system, you would now receive an additional 50% off and 100% off coupon alongside the personalized lists.

*NOTE: Switching from VHX to Youtube or vice versa does not interrupt your consecutive months subscribed streak, but you will need to verify both your VHX and Youtube account information in your verification email.

What if I am subscribed to the War Room Bronze (Youtube) or War Room (Silver)?

Bronze members who remain subscribed for 12 months consecutively can redeem a 25% off group coaching coupon each year subscribed.

Silver members who remain subscribed for 12 months consecutively can redeem a 50% off group coaching coupon each year subscribed.
