On today’s Art of War Battle Report, we present to you the brand new edition of Warhammer 40k with John's Reclamation Force and Librarius Conclave Ultramarines versus Michael's Hexwarp Thrallband and Sekhetar Cohort Thousand Sons!

As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. How will both of these armies adapt to the new 11th Edition competitive meta?

John's Ultramarines are led by Marneus Calgar, Captain Titus, a Librarian, and a Lieutenant with Combi-Weapon. Supported by the Wardens of Ultramar, a unit of 6 Bladeguard, a unit of 10 Sternguard, an Intercessor Squad, a unit of Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs, 2x Ballistus Dreadnoughts, an Incursor Squad, 2x Land Speeders, a Repulsor, a Scout Squad and a Terminator Assault Squad.

Michael's Thousand Sons are led by Magnus the Red, a Sorcerer with Empyric Onslaught, and a Sorcerer in Terminator Armor. Supported by a unit of Rubric Marines, a Defiler, a unit of 10 Scarab Occult Terminators, 2x units of 4 Sekhetar Robots, 2x units of Tzaangor Enlightened, and 2x units of Tzaangors.

Today’s battle will be fought using the Take and Hold versus Take and Hold Disposition matchup on the new 11th Edition Terrain format, Dawn of War Deployment!
