On today’s Art of War Battle Report, we have a top table clash between Nick’s Aspect Host Aeldari vs John’s Shadowmark Talon Raven Guard!
As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. In a battle between perhaps the two strongest armies in the game, who will emerge victorious?
Nick’s Aeldari are led by Asurmen, an Autarch, Fuegan, Jain Zar, Lhykhis, and Maugan Ra. Supported by a Wave Serpent, a unit of Dark Reapers, a unit of Dire Avengers, a unit of 10 Fire Dragons, 2x units of Howling Banshees, 3x units of Rangers, a unit of Shining Spears, a unit of Swooping Hawks and 3x units of Warp Spiders.
John’s Raven Guard are led by Aethon Shaan, Kayvaan Shrike, a Captain with Jump Pack with Hunter’s Instincts, and a Lieutenant with Combi-Weapon with Coronal Susurrant. Supported by an Intercessor Squad, 2x units of Assault Intercessors with Jump Packs, a unit of 6x and a unit of 3x Centurion Devastators, a unit of 6 and 2x units of 3 Inceptor Squads, and 2x units of Vanguard Veterans with Jump Packs.
Today’s battle will be fought using the Chapter Approved 2025-2026 Tournament Companion – Mission C, Linchpin Primary, Tipping Point Deployment, on Games Workshop Terrain Layout #1.
