As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. Can the Dark Angels led by the Lion outlast the Death Guard affliction?
John’s Dark Angels are led by Lion El’Johnson, a Captain with Ancient Weapons and a Lieutenant with Combi-Weapon with Tempered in Battle. Supported by an Intercessor Squad, an Impulsor, 3x units of Deathwing Knights, a unit of 6 Eradicators, an Infiltrator Squad, a Sternguard Veteran Squad, and 2x units of Vanguard Veteran Squads with Jump Packs.

Michael’s Death Guard are led by a Lord of Virulence with Tendrilous Emissions and a Tallyman. Supported by a unit of Chaos Spawn, two units of Deathshroud Terminators, 3x Foetid Bloat Drones with Flesh Mowers, 3x Foetid Bloat Drones with Heavy Blight Launchers, 3x Myphitic Blight-Haulers, 3x Plagueburst Crawlers and a unit of Poxwalkers.

Today’s battle will be fought using the new Chapter Approved 2025-2026, Mission H, Supply Drop, Hammer and Anvil, on Games Workshop Terrain Layout #7.
