On today’s Art of War Battle Report, we present to you the brand new edition of Warhammer 40k with John's Assimilation Swarm and Talons of the Norn Queen Tyranids vs Michael's Saga of the Great Wolf and Legend of Saga and Song Space Wolves!

As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. What will the new competitive meta look like for both of these armies?

John's Tyranids are led by a Hive Tyrant, 2x Tyranid Primes, one with Parasitic Biomorphology. Supported by a Biovore, 2x units of 2 Pyrovores, a Norn Assimilator with Synaptoprescience, a Norn Emissary, 2x Maleceptors, a unit of 20 and a unit of 10 Hormagaunts, 2x Psychophage, and an Exocrine.

Michael's Space Wolves are led by Logan Grimnar, Arjac Rockfist, Bjorn the Fell-Handed and a Wolf-Guard Battle Leader with Skjald's Foretelling. Supported by 2x units of Fenrisian Wolves, 2x Redemptor Dreadnoughts, a Repulsor Executioner, a Scout Squad, a unit of 10 and 5 Wolf Guard Terminators both with Fierce Example, and a unit of 6 Wolf Guard Headtakers.

Today’s battle will be fought using the Priority Assets versus Take and Hold matchup on the new 11th Edition Terrain format, Crucible of Battle Deployment!
