As always, this competitive Battle Report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. How will these two armies adapt to this new competitive meta? Will the Guard secure this high priority Imperial world from the abhuman threat, or will the Kin outmaneuver and outgun their simpleminded foes?

Tucker's Astra Militarum are led by Lord Solar Leontus attached to a squad of Cadian Shock Troops with a Cadian Command Squad, a Militarum Tempestus Command Squad attached to 10 Tempestus Scions, a Tech-Priest Enginseer, and the legendary Ibram Gaunt and his Ghosts. They're supported by an armoured column of Imperial Tanks featuring a Chimera, a Taurox, three Leman Tuss Battle Tanks, a Leman Russ Eradicator and a Leman Russ Exterminator. He also has a squad of 5 Death Riders, two squads of Kasrkin, a squad of Krieg Combat Engineers, and a single Scout Sentinel.

Richard's Leagues of Votann are led by renowned heroes Uthar the Destined and Buri Aegnirssen. They're supported by two squads of Hernkyn Yaegirs split into four squads of 5 by two Kapricus Carriers, two units of 6 Brokhyr Thunderkyn with Graviton Blast Cannons, two Hekaton Land Fortresses, two squads of 3 Hernkyn Pioneers, two squads of 6 Ironkin Steeljacks with Heavy Volkanite Disintegrators, and a squad of 6 Ironkin Steeljacks with Plasma Swords.
