On today’s Art of War Battle Report, Brian’s brand new Gate Warden Lance Imperial Knights take on Michael’s Taktikal Brigade Orks in this Codex debut match!
As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. Stay tuned to find out whether the Shokk Attack Guns and Tankbustas can rain mayhem on the dangerous new Imperial Knights!
Brian’s Knights are led by Canis Rex, a Lancer with Purgation’s Hand, a Knight Defender with Augury Halo, two Armiger Helverins, two Armiger Warglaives, a Callidus Assassin, and Watch Captain Artemis.
Michael’s Orks are led by a Beastboss, a Big Mek in Mega Armour with Mek Kaptin, three Big Meks with Shokk Attack Guns, a Mek, a Warboss in Mega Armour and Zodgrod Wortsnagga. Supported by a unit of Beast Snagga Boyz, a unit of Stormboyz, three Trukks, a unit of 10 Flash Gitz, a unit of 20 Gretchin and two units of 10 Gretchin, a unit of 5 Meganobz, and three units of Tankbustas.
Today’s battle will be fought using the Chapter Approved 2025-2026 Tournament Companion – Mission D, Scorched Earth Primary, Tipping Point Deployment, on Games Workshop Terrain Layout #1
