As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. How will both of these armies adapt to the new 11th Edition competitive meta? Who's hotter - Fuegan and his Fire Dragons or Vulkan He'stan and his Infernus Marines?

Nick's Aeldari are led by not one, not three, but four Phoenix Lords: Maugan Ra leading 5 Dark Reapers, Fuegan leading 5 Fire Dragons, Jain Zar leading 5 Howling Banshees and Lhykhis leading 10 Warp Spiders. They're supported by 4 minimum size units of Corsair Voidreavers, two Falcons, two units of Rangers, a 10-strong unit of Swooping Hawks, a unit of 5 Warp Spiders, and for the first time on an Art of War Table, a unit of three Exodite Dragon Knights!

Sascha's Salamanders are led by Vulkan He'stan leading a Company of Heroes and Adrax Agatone leading a Bladeguard Veteran Squad. They're joined by a Librarian with the Immolator Enhancement leading a ten-man squad of Infernus Marines, a Librarian in Phobos Armour with the Prescience enhancement leading 5 Infiltrators, another Librarian leading a Sternguard Veteran squad, and a unit of 5 Intercessors. As armour support Sascha's brought a Gladiator Reaper, a Gladiator Valiant, two Invader ATVs, and a Land Raider Redeemer.

Today’s battle will be fought using the Priority Assets versus Disruption Disposition matchup on the new 11th Edition Terrain format, Tipping Point Deployment, Layout B!
