On today’s Art of War Battle Report, we present to you the brand new edition of Warhammer 40k with Richard's Kauyon and Advanced Acquisition Cadre T'au Empire taking on Jack's Talons of the Emperor Adeptus Custodes!
As always, this competitive battle report is going to focus on the tactics and strategies employed by two of the best players in the world. Note that this battle report is using existing 10th edition points costs for units and random force dispositions that we think fit the lore of the detachment!
Richard's Tau are led by Commander Shadowsun, The Twin Lance, and an Ethereal. Supported by 2x Ghostkeel Battlesuits, 3x Pathfinder Teams, 2x solo Piranhas, 3x Riptide Battlesuits, a Sky Ray Gunship and 2x Stealth Battlesuit units.
Jack's Custodes are led by 2x Blade Champions, one with Radiant Mantle and the other with Aegis Projector. Supported by 3x units of 4 Custodian Guard, 3x units of 3 Allarus Custodians, 2x Custodian Wardens units, 3x units of Prosecutors, and 2x units of Witchseekers.
Today’s battle will be fought using the Reconnaissance versus Priority Assets Force Disposition matchup on the new 11th Edition Terrain format, Tipping Point Deployment!
